This year I and other young people had the opportunity to be part of Erasmus + and visit 4 countries, namely Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Romania, divided into 4 groups.  We then had the opportunity to host groups of children from their respective cities, during the last week of March.  So we were able to test other types of cultures and lifestyles and at the same time we were able to show our habits and the territory in which we live and consequently monumental works known all over the world, such as the Bronzi di Riace in Reggio Calabria, the Castle Norman-Swabian of Vibo Valentia, or even art galleries such as the Limen or the creations of the Vibonese master Antonio La Gamba.
We Italian kids immediately established a good relationship with foreign kids and it was an experience that allowed us to enrich ourselves on a cultural and personal level, it allowed us to broaden our horizons and open our minds more, improving our language skills and also learning idioms in different languages.  It was an experience that we would do again because it left us a lot and also it doesn't happen every day, it allowed us to break away from our routine and have a week where we could have fun and at the same time learn. All this made us much more independent and responsible, so we would recommend this experience to all children, even if for a short time.
